Case Studies for MK Legal
"Sarah, I wanted to take this time to say thank you very much for all the effort you put in to ensure the sale and purchase of my property went as smooth as possible. You showed me great support and always gave the right advice to ensure all enquiries were answered in a prompt manner.
There were times when it looked like the sale was going to fall through but you always went the extra mile to ensure this did not happen, for which I cannot thank you enough. I would highly recommend you and MK Legal can only benefit from having you as a member of their team.
Once again thank you very much and if I'm in a position of moving again, I certainly will be coming back and request you to handle my case."

Carole from Milton Keynes
In 1995 Carole was walking home after finishing work at The Suffolk Punch. It was after midnight and she was dressed in black. Instead of using the underpass, she decided to walk across a dual carriageway and regrettably she was struck by a car and left with devastating injuries.
The driver's insurers rejected her claim and offered her a token gesture of £25,000. With Martin Keeling's guidance, the problems with liability were dealt with and a difficult claim was eventually settled for over £550,000. Carole still carries the physical and mental scars but says "I could easily have accepted that the accident was my fault but Martin helped me make the right decisions and I have now been able to adapt my house to meet my needs and have the care and support I need".

Mavis of Northumberland
Mavis' father was a miner and worked for the National Coal Board from 1919 to 1966 and sadly died in 1978 as a result of lung cancer and chronic bronchitis.
Some twenty six years after his death, Mavis approached me to see if she could make a Mineworkers Respiratory disease claim against the DTI (Department of Trade & Industry) even though her father had not worked in the industry for nearly 40 years and had been a smoker throughout his life. He was subsequently diagnosed as having been suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and chronic bronchitis.
A claim was pursued against the DTI and as a result, Mavis and her family received an award of over £8,500.

Mr H from Peterborough
Mr H is a motor mechanic and was working under a vehicle on a power lift. The lift was unstable and the vehicle fell. Mr H leapt aside to avoid being hit and in so doing, strained his back and suffered extensive bruising to his knee. We recovered compensation of £12,000 for his injury and treatment expenses.
